To save themselves a whole load of pain, APPtechnology founders, David Mays and Martin Sweeney, enlisted team Kulea to manage the whole invitation process, so that they could focus on broadcasting a great guest experience.

APPtechnology are a trusted IT partner for peace-of-mind Windows OS Management, Application Packaging and Endpoint Management Services.


APPtechnology sought to host a series of webinars addressing highly specific technology challenges, such as migrating Microsoft infrastructure to Windows 11, Cyber Security/Cyber Essentials accreditation, and containerisation of application environments.

The challenge was to engage with senior IT and cyber security professionals, who are notoriously time poor and paranoid about cold outreach/link clicking (which is, of course a fundamental requirement for signing up to a webinar!)

In the past, self run webinars had generated low registration rates, often with only two of three attendees “if we were lucky” (client’s words!), and they knew that hosting the right webinar topics was only half the challenge – they also needed to get the right people to attend!
