InvestorsWe wouldn’t be here today without the support of our amazing investors. Here’s a little bit about them…
John Hughes was Kulea’s founding investor, mentor and guide through rocky paths. John unexpectedly passed away in early 2017, and we miss his wisdom and warmth every day.
John was a keen angel investor with more than thirty years’ experience leading complex, high technology businesses operating at a global level. John was previously group chairman of Just Eat, where he oversaw their £1.5bn IPO, formerly Chairman of Telecity, and subsequent to their $4billion acquisition by Equinix Inc, is a member of the Equinix Board of Directors; he also serves as a Non-Executive Director at CSG Systems International Inc. and is a member of the Advisory Board of Strattam Capital Investment Fund.
John held a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University of Hertfordshire (formerly Hatfield Polytechnic) and was awarded a CBE for services to international telecommunications in the Queen’s 2011 New Year Honours List.
Rest in peace John.
